Following the earlier visit of Prof. Liu and Prof. Deng of the Department of Architecture at the Southern University of Technology in Guangzhou at the SUSTech School of Design, members of the Design Cybernetics Group and the Future Ecologies Group paid a return visit to Prof. Liu and Prof. Deng at the Southern University of Technology in Guangzhou on 23-Oct-2024.
During this trip, we had an opportunity to visit Prof. Liu and Prof. Deng’s Design Future Lab and to take a look at their team’s impressive computational design projects. Thomas Fischer and Christiane M. Herr then had the opportunity to deliver a lecture titled ‘Design Cybernetics: An Introduction’ to an in-person as well as online audience. In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious dinner together and planned further exchanges between our research groups in the near future!
